Combining Rhythms and Licks

It is possible to combine the many rhythms studied throughout the previous lessons with the type of licks featured in this lesson. The next example applies a simple lick with an eighth note rhythm pattern.

The next example makes use of pull-offs. Attention should be given to the timing at the beginning of this example as it starts on the "+" after the first beat of the bar. Listen to the recording to get the right feel and timing of this one.
