Legato

A curved line placed above or below a group of notes is called a slur. When you see a slur you should play the notes as smoothly as possible. This is called legato, which is the opposite of staccato.

To play notes legato, keep your finger on the key until you have started to press down the next key. In the next song, be sure to observe where to play legato and staccato.
