Using Both Hands

You now know five notes on the bass staff, which you play with your left hand.

You also know five notes on the treble staff, which you play with your right hand.

Always use the correct fingers when playing these notes.

Keep your hands in the correct position.

This is the first song where you use both hands. Keep your hands in the correct position even when you are not playing a note.

The Half Rest

A black box sitting on the third line of a staff is called a half rest. Sometimes called a minim rest. It means two counts of silence.
