The Left Hand Thumb
In book one you learned that the right hand thumb always rests on the top string. Now we are going to use it and it will be time for the fingers to rest.
The thumb uses a new stroke called the free stroke. Play the string with a downward motion and instead of resting onto the next string, the thumb comes back up to the string in a circle movement.
