The E, F and G on the E bass string have the same fret position as on string one. Play E, F and G on string 6 the same way you would on string one. The Volga Boatman you learned previously can be played on the 6th string using E, F sharp and G. Don’t forget, F sharp is played with finger 2 of the left hand.
