Progressive Electronic Keyboard Method for Young Beginners, consisting of three instruction books and two supplementary songbooks, has been designed to introduce the younger student to the basics of electronic keyboard playing and reading music.
All the songs have been carefully graded into an easy-to-follow, lesson-by-lesson format, which assumes no prior knowledge of music or electronic keyboard by the student.
Method Book 3 incorporates very easy arrangements of well-known children’s songs, covering eleven notes on the treble staff, including one sharp (F#) and one flat (Bb). Three new major chords (D, Bb and A), three seventh chords (G7, D7 and C7), and two minor chords (Gm and Dm) are introduced, using both easy and fingered chord shapes.
