Extended E Chord Licks

Example Twenty Seven uses a popular E Major chord on the seventh fret. The bass note is played with the first finger and the first string note is played with the second finger. The third finger bends the second string and the fourth finger plays the extra notes on the ninth fret.

Example Twenty Eight is a half bar on the ninth fret with the fourth finger playing the twelfth fret on the first string. The entire shape slides from the eighth fret to obtain the slide in bars two and four.
