The Note A

Lesson 2/16 | Study Time: 5 Min
The Note A

The Note A

The small blue numbers placed next to notes on the staves tell you which finger to play the note with. Be sure to use the correct finger.

This is the note A. In this lesson, play the A note with the fifth finger of your right hand.

Before you play this song, practice the right hand and left hand parts separately. After you have learned each part, play them together. Be careful to use the correct fingers when playing the notes of the right hand part.

When a note is repeated in a bar, no fingering is written. Play it with the same fingering as the note before. For example, in bar 3, play both G notes with the fourth finger of your right hand.

Remember to practice each hand separately first.
