A Word about Intonation
Many beginners have difficulty playing pitches accurately. This will improve with practice and experience. It is important to understand the concept of exact pitches, but not to worry if you have intonation problems at first.
Careful listening and playing along with the recording will help intonation, but it is best to work on this aspect of playing with a teacher right from the start.
