A Final Solo

To dinish things off, here is a slow Blues solo in + time which makes use of almost all of the sounds and techniques covered in the book. Take your time with it, and learn it one phrase at a time if necessary. If you have trouble with the timing, listen carefully to the CD, watching the notation as you listen. There is one more new thchnique in bars 5 and 6 of this solo, i.e. the use of the pick and right hand middle finger (m) to pic two notes simulaneously. Practice this technique on open strings ar first and then apply it to the licks. If you are interested in learning more about Blues playing in more detail than space allows here. These books are shown on pages 79 and 80.
