Scale Tone Chord Extensions in the Key of C

Use these root 6 and root 5 chord shapes to play the following scale tone chord extensions in the key of C.

Play the following exercise ascending and descending.

It is important to be able to play this progression in every key. Try the following (ascending and descending):

Make playing scale tone extensions a part of your regular practice. Be aware that it may take a little time and a lot of patience before you are truly familiar with these chord shapes. As soon as you are able, practice this progression in as many keys as possible.
