The following diagram shows the fingering for the A Blues scale in the open position. Remember that there is only one new note (E or D). All the other notes are the same as the A minor pentatonic scale.

Here are a couple of licks derived from the A Blues scale fingering as shown in the previous diagram. Learn them and then use the ideas to create your own Blues scale licks.
