Dave Lombardo (Slayer)

The drummer with Slayer is an extremely fast technician with a speedy double bass drum feel. He constantly changes from the pulse into a double time feel and back again – sometimes from a fast beat into half time etc. This style has proved effective in Slayer’s music. A master at creating "dark, evil" sounds by his interpretation and wild approach to the drum kit. His playing is always spontaneous and exciting as he continues to "go for it".
