Fretboard Diagrams

Throughout the book several fretboard diagrams are used to highlight either an open string or a fretted note. A fretboard diagram is a grid of horizontal and vertical lines representing the strings and frets of the fretboard. An open circle represents an open string and a full black circle represents a fretted note. The number refers to the left hand finger which frets the note.
