Troubleshooting
- Remember to maintain correct left and right hand playing positions (see photos on Right Arm Position and Left Hand Placement ).
- Count out loud as you play, and be particularly careful of dotted notes and ties.
- It may also help to tap your foot with the beat.
- Hold the pick correctly, between the thumb and index finger ( see Using the Pick ).
- Be sure to support your wrist and use correct pick technique ( see Right Hand Support ).
Guitar Effects…
Chorus Pedal
The chorus pedal is an ambient effect which creates a feeling of space and movement within the sound. The pedal delays the sound and changes it to become less regular and also adds slight pitch fluctuations. It then mixes this version of the sound in with the original signal coming from the guitar. Chorus pedals are equally effective with both acoustic and electric guitars.
