Pick Technique
You should not let the pick "dig in" to the strings, but rather play using only its tip.

Troubleshooting
- Play slowly and evenly. Do not attempt to go fast as accuracy is more important at this level.
- Place your fingers directly behind the frets (as shown in the photos) and on their tips.
- Count (in groups of four) in your head or out loud as you play.
- Be sure to support your wrist and use correct pick technique.
