Guitar Effects…

Wah Wah Pedal

The Wah Wah pedal imitates the "Wah" sound used by Jazz trumpeters waving a mute in front of the trumpet. It is a great expression tool for the electric guitar, enabling the guitarist to create talking and crying sounds by moving the foot up and down on the pedal. The Wah Wah pedal was made famous by Jimi Hendrix. He used a model called the "Cry Baby" which is shown in the accompanying photo.

Guitar Effects…

Delay Pedal

The delay pedal makes a copy of what a guitarist plays and repeats it at a specific rate depending on how the controls are set. You can control the speed of the delay and the number of repeats. Delays are used to great effect by Edge from U2, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Andy Summers of the Police.
