The Note A (la)

The note A is written in the second space of the staff.

The sol-fa syllable for the note A is la. As with all new notes, sing the song twice through, using the sol-fa syllables the first time and the note names the second time.

D.C. al Fine (pronounced "fee-nay")

In the last bar of the following song, the instruction D.C. al Fine is written. This means that you sing the song again from the beginning until you reach the word Fine (bar 16).
