To finish off this section, here is a slow Blues solo in + time which makes use of almost all the sounds and techniques covered in the book. This one is a real challenge, so take your time with it, and learn it one phrase at a time if necessary. There is one more new technique in bars 5 and 6 of this solo - the use of the pick and right hand middle finger (m) to pick two notes simultaneously. Practice this technique on open strings at first if necessary and then apply it to the licks. For more detail on this technique, see Progressive Complete Learn to Play Blues Guitar Manual.
