These three diagrams illustrate the root position (1 b3 5), first inversion (b3 5 1), and second inversion (5 1 b3) of the Gm chord.

Example 70 shows the root position, first inversion, second inversion, and an octave of the root position of the Gm chord. Example 71 uses all the inversions of both Fm and Gm.

To finish off this section, here is a 12 Bar Blues using all the inversions of the chords Cm, Fm and Gm. This example contains much use of implied slash chords. The left hand part consists of alternating octave notes. Practice each hand separately at first if necessary.
