The Low G Note

This G note is written in the space below the second ledger line below the staff.

To play this G note, place your third finger just behind the third fret of the sixth string.

The Low F Note

This F note is written on the third ledger line below the staff.

To play this F note, place your first finger just behind the first fret of the sixth string.

The Open E Note (6th String)

This E note is written in the space below the third ledger line below the staff.

To play this E note, pick the open sixth string.

Rhythm Pattern

Strum the chord once every two bars (as indicated by the tie in the rhythm pattern), throughout this song, until you reach bar 14, where you strum every beat. This song is in the key of Am.

For a different sound, try strumming from the first string to the sixth string.
