These Exercises help you develop Polyrhythmic phrases and patterns for playing around the drums.

Play all the Exercisese as written, then start again, with Right Hand on Floor Tom and Left Hand on Snare Drum. Then Right Hand on Snare, and Left Hand on Small Tom. Make up your own combinations, you will be amazed at the different color tones, and sounds you can create.

In this Lesson, you will find a sign like this: T when you see this sign over a note, it means BOTH hands are played together, or play as a flam.

T = Both hands play together, or play as a flam.

Try these exercises by keeping the right hand on floor tom or ride cymbal and left hand on snare drum.
