Creating Your Own Solo

The following jamming progressions will give you a chance to create your own solo. Insert a lick from the previous chord lick section which corresponds with the chord being used in the progression i.e., if the chord being played is "E" Major, then select a lick from the "E" chord licks section. When the chord progression changes to either an A Major or a B Major then change the lick also to match the chord.

Once you have practiced your separate licks for each chord, try placing the licks together for each chord progression. Listen to the progression on the accompanying cassette and play along using your solo.
