Most electronic keyboards have a control which can automatically add an ending to songs you are playing. Press the ending button when you have finished playing a song. Next to each example and song there is a suggested voice and rhythm to use. You can, however, use any voice or rhythm that you think suits the song.
Remember to take your finger off the chord key immediately after you have played it, but keep your left hand fingers close to the keyboard, ready to play the next chord. Practice slowly and evenly, and count as you play. The chords are called the accompaniment.
This song is the melody to Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. It contains two chords in bar 8, where each chord receives two counts.
