Easy Chord Table

When you are playing from sheet music and you come across an unfamiliar chord, study the table below in order to find an easier substitute chord to play. This chord will still sound correct. For example, when you see a Cmaj7 symbol, play a C chord instead. For a Cm6, you can substitute a Cm chord, and so on.
