The Grand Staff

Lesson 4/76 | Study Time: 5 Min
The Grand Staff

The Grand Staff

When the treble and bass staves are joined together by a line and a bracket, they are called a grand staff.

Piano and keyboard music are written on the grand staff.

The staff below shows random notes written on the lines and in the spaces of the grand staff. Write the name of each note in the appropriate box.

Continue to write the names of the notes above the examples in this book until you can "read" them at a glance. Use a pencil so that you can erase the names and test your memory as it improves.
