Six Eight Time
The ) time signature is indicated by six eighth notes per bar. The eighth notes are usually compound into groups of three, e.g.:
Example 58 introduces the key of A minor and is in ) time.
Example 59 consists of two sections. The first one (A) is in the key of C# minor and is repeated, whereas the second one (B) modulates into the key of A with no repeats.
Example 60 is in the key of F and features some bass runs as well as some interesting off beat rhythm variations. Listen to the recording to get the right feel.
