The F Major Scale

The F Major Scale

In Lesson 18 you learnt the C major scale, which gave the familiar sound of Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do. In this lesson, the F major scale is introduced. The F major scale starts and ends on an F note, and contains one flat – Bb. The flat sign after the clefs indicates that all B notes on the stave are played as Bb.

The F major scale (as do all major scales) also has the Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So La, Ti, Do pattern.
