Syncopated Grooves
The following examples use syncopated rhythms, often referred to as off-beat playing.
The following syncopated grooves use techniques and rhythms found in previous examples.
This example uses a two bar phrase over a four bar progression.
The next example is based upon a two bar phrase applied to an eight bar progression. The phrase alters slightly depending on which chords are used. An accent (L) is also introduced. Play these notes stronger or louder.
