The Quick Slide

The Quick Slide

A quick slide is also called a grace note. In both traditional and Tab notation the quick slide is indicated by a diagonal line leading up to the note, without any fret number before it. The grace note is played just before the note you are sliding to. Listen to the CD to hear the difference between the quick slide and the full valued slide.

Full valued slide ("in time" slide).
