Play this progression using the following 2 bar rhythm pattern. Make full use of slide and pivot fingers.
Here is a 12 bar Blues in the key of C, using the moveable A7 form. Notice the use of the quick IV once again.
When using the G7 form as a moveable shape, it is common to use only the first four strings once again. This is partly because the full G7 bar chord shape is very awkward to move around the fretboard.
This 12 bar Blues in the key of A uses only the G7 form moved up and down the fretboard. It also contains a new Blues technique, moving down one fret from a chord and then back to the original chord. This technique is often used to add colour and drive to the rhythm pattern.
