Jewels II is also a little different to the other pieces in this book. This piece leans towards a classical guitar style, with a slight "latin" influence in the second section. This solo is in the key of E Major and consists of two sections.
Special attention must be given to the false harmonics in bar number seven. The correct way to play these type of harmonics is detailed next. The first finger of the picking hand lightly touches the string above the fretwire of the number in brackets(14th fret) as the fretting hand holds the fretted note indicated in the tab(2nd fret). As the first finger is touching the string, strike the string with the thumb. If executed correctly a harmonic will be produced. Immediately after playing the harmonic, another string is played with fourth finger of the picking hand. Important; see chord diagram number 17 for the correct left hand fingering of the chord shape in this bar.
