Clefs
At the beginning of each line of written music there is a symbol called a clef. There are two common types of clefs. One is called the treble clef and the other is called the bass clef.
The Treble Clef
This symbol is called a treble clef. When a staff has a treble clef on it, it is called a treble staff. High notes are written on the treble staff.
Try drawing ten more treble clefs in a notebook or on some paper.
The Whole Note
This music note is called a whole note. You will learn more about whole notes in Lesson 4.
Practice drawing whole notes on some paper or manuscript book.
