The Bass Clef

The Bass Clef

This symbol is called a bass clef. When a staff has a bass clef on it, it is called a bass staff. Low notes are written on the bass staff.

Practice drawing ten more bass clefs in a notebook or on a piece of paper.

Instruments which use the bass clef include the electric bass (pictured), double bass, cello, tuba, trombone, bassoon and baritone saxophone.
