Finally, sometimes the right hand must use the fourth position if the sixth string is played. The right hand thumb (p) is allocated to the 6th string, the right hand index finger (i) to the 5th string and the right middle finger (m) to the 4th string.
Try creating some single note runs using all the scales you have learnt in this lesson. Try to use all six strings, experimenting with changing the right hand position at different stages of the run.
Remember that there is no set rule to changing the right hand position. It is a matter of choice for you, to change the position at a stage in the run that best suits your own individual style.
