A major seventh chord is created by adding a major 3rd on top of a major triad. As with triads, there are many different ways of playing major 7th arpeggios on the guitar fretboard. Some of these are shown in the following diagrams.
Once you start to feel comfortable with the various fingerings for major 7th arpeggios, try improvising with them and moving between the various forms as shown in the following example.
