The "Bar by Bar Blues Solo", with only one beat of harmonica chord in each bar, is an excellent exercise for improving the sense of timing necessary for playing the blues.
In the following verse, space has been conserved by indicating that the first bar be repeated three times more (for a total of four bars) with a triple repeat sign, rather than writing each identical bar out in its entirety. Likewise, each of the two bars of the second line should be repeated one extra time, as indicated by the single repeat signs after each bar.
From now on, this style of repeat notation will be used to avoid writing identical bars of notation.
You may also repeat the entire solo, as indicated by the repeat sign at the very end of the solo.
