The following major key progressions use only major chords and seventh chords. To improvise against these minor key progressions, find the "keynote" of the piece, which is the same as the starting chord of each piece. Then find the keynote on the 6th string and use notes from Pattern 1 starting on this note. Example 284 is a typical Rock progression. The extra progressions all sound good with the minor pentatonic scale. As with the minor key progressions, record yourself playing each progression and then improvise over the play back.
