Funk
For funk drumming the snare should sound clean and bright with lots of punch. There should be plenty of tops to help any rim shots cut through. The toms should be smooth and clear with a sharp bright finish. The bass drum needs lots of punch and attack with a strong deep tone.
Each of these drum sounds are sampled on the “How To Tune the Drums” C.D. The individual drums are sampled first, followed by a short solo around the entire kit.
