In Lick 78 the hammer-on is played in the usual way but the note before it is played with the slap technique.
In Lick 79 the note before the hammer-on is played with the popping technique (index finger).
Lick 80 uses the hammer-on, popping and slap techniques, and is a very popular bass fill.
Lick 81 also uses a ghost note in the 1st bar.
The next lick uses octaves played on different frets. Make up your own octave licks further up the neck and on the different strings.
Lick 83 starts with a slide up the neck on the A string and leads into the 1 st C note of the octave pattern.
Lick 84 and 85 alternate between the left hand hammer-on and the right hand slap on the A string.
Go back and repeat Licks 49 and 50 using the slapping technique with the thumb instead of the usual picking and combine it with the hammer-ons.
