Notice that the shape for each scale tone extension chord in root position is identical, and is played with the same fingering. Note also that each chord contains the basic scale tone chords that you learned in Lesson 12 (e.g., the Cmaj7 chord is a C chord with a B note added). Play all the scale tone extension chords in the key of C as written on the staff on the previous page, ascending and descending. Also practice playing the 3 inversions for each chord.
