The D Form

The D Form

The Blues scale (like most scales) has five fingerings which follow five basic chord shapes. These fingerings cover the entire fretboard when joined together. Following the low E form, the next fingering is the D form. (For further information about the five forms and how they relate to chord shapes see Progressive Blues Lead Guitar Method).
