Moving Licks

Moving Licks

It is possible to play most things in more than one place one the fretboard. This lesson demonstrates how one lick can be played in several different forms, and also sliding between forms. This lick is first played in the E form.

Here is the same lick played in the lower octave of the E form.

This time it is played in the C form.

Here it is in the A form

This time the lick starts in the C form and moves up through the A form before ending in the G form.

In the next example the lick starts in the E form and slides up to the D form.
