The following six arpeggio patterns use most of the chord extension notes just mentioned. Each pattern is transposable, and can start anywhere along the 4th string of the Bass.
Two arpeggio patterns are shown for each chord. The first one uses the notes and intervals without changing octaves.
The second one uses the same notes but with changes of octave.
There are many ways on how to combine the different notes of these arpeggio patterns. Once your are familiar with the following examples, try experimenting with them and create your own patterns. As explained previously these are more complex chords and it is not necessary to play all the notes as a Bass player. Often it sounds better to omit certain notes and leave some space for other instruments to create more transparency.
