Three Quarter Time

Until now all songs and examples have been in four quarter time (four beats to the bar). A ^ time signature at the beginning of the music indicates that there are only three beats to every bar. The following example is counted 1, 2 and 3 and. As with * time. the first beat of the bar should be played louder.

Apply the ^ time rhythm in Example 32 to the following chord progression which uses the D Major Sixth. D Major Seventh and D Seventh chords.
