Tuning to the Cassette or CD

At the beginning of the accompanying recording, there is a special tuning section. The correct pitch for each string has been recorded several times, giving you the opportunity to compare the pitch of each individual string on your guitar. As each string is sounded on the recording, adjust the pitch of the same string on your guitar by tuning the corresponding tuning peg. To raise the pitch of the string, the string must be tightened. To lower the pitch of the string, the string must be loosened.
