Like major and minor chords, suspended chords can also be played as bar chords. The following diagrams demonstrate how root 6 and root 5 bar chords can be formed from open Esus and Asus chords. Like all bar chords, you simply move the shape along the fretboard to find different chords.
This progression is the same as the one in the previous example, but this time it is played using bar chords. The A and Asus are root 6 bar chords. All the D and E chords are root 5. The G and Gsus can be played as either root 6 or root 5.
