This chord type is less common than the other 7th types, but by using the formula, you could go through the process of working out voicings on groups of four adjacent strings as well as the ones shown here which relate to the five basic forms.

A minor 7th flat five chord is created by flattening the 5th degree of any minor 7th chord. For example, a Cm7b5 chord contains the notes C, Eb, Gb and Bb (1, b3, b5 and b7).
Because of the flattened 5th degree, this chord is sometimes referred to as a half diminished chord. The following diagrams show some common open minor 7th flat five chord shapes.
