Root Six and Root Five Power Chords

Root Six and Root Five Power Chords

Power chords can also be played in different positions on the fretboard. The two most commonly used power chords are the root six and root five power chords, derived from the root six and root five major bar chords. Root six means that the root note (the note name of the chord) is found on the sixth string and root five means the root note is found on the fifth string. Study the following diagrams.
