Like the pentatonic scales, it is possible to use the same fingerings for major and natural minor scales. If you look at the diagrams below, you will see that the G form of the C major scale is identical to the E form of the A natural minor scale. Once again, the fingering remains exactly the same, only the positions of the root notes change. This applies to all the fingering patterns.

Shown below are the remaining four forms of the natural minor scale, along with the pattern of identical fingerings between major and relative minor scales. This pattern remains the same regardless of whether the scales are major and natural minor, or pentatonic.
